Jaye Powers
Weekdays 3p – 7p

Hailing from North Carolina, Jaye Powers got into radio after a lengthy career in the Army and a realization that automotive sales would drive him insane. He prefers his music like he likes his tanks – heavy and loud, and his encyclopedic knowledge of music paired with his dry wit makes for an entertaining program. He probably owns too many guitars, he definitely owns too many band shirts, but “too many albums” is a phrase he is incapable of speaking. 

When he’s not on the air, Jaye enjoys binge watching whatever his wife is currently interested in, repairing his hot rod, and watching his son destroy everything he’s ever loved in his life. His dislikes are compilation Christmas albums, the fourth season of Airwolf, and whoever designed the LT1 engine.
