On November 3 at The Dome At America’s Center in St. Louis, Pantera will open for Metallica. That seems excessively far off in the future, right? So while we’re sometimes a tiny bit annoyed when our view of stages is blocked by other people’s phones, we’re grateful for these Mexico City concertgoers who captured metal history for us. And for whoever edited together numerous clips into one nearly full-set experience.

This past summer Pantera frontman Philip Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown announced their intention to return to the stage with guitarist Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society) and drummer Charlie Benante (Anthrax) in place of the late Abbott brothers (Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul).
