Watch Nine Inch Nails Cover ‘Hey Man, Nice Shot’ With Former Members

A Cleveland show turned into an extended Nine Inch Nails family reunion over the weekend.

Behind mainman Trent Reznor, lots of musicians have revolved in and out of Nine Inch Nails’ lineup over the years. And the stage got pretty crowded on Saturday night as a handful of former NIN members performed a handful of classics including an unlikely cover selection.

Trent Reznor brought former members Richard Patrick, Chris Vrenna, Charlie Clouser and Danny Lohner onstage at the band’s show in Ohio on Saturday. The four musicians were all members of Nine Inch Nails at different times. Patrick’s presence was an especially big surprise, as was a cover of “Hey Man, Nice Shot” by Filter, Patrick’s post-NIN band.

Prior to the show, Trent dropped by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his current and former bandmates for a Nine Inch Nails Fan Day event. Some of those former members were inducted alongside him, but not Richard Patrick for whatever reason. Considering how Nine Inch Nails covered Filter’s biggest song at the show with Patrick on vocals, any bad feelings must be water under the bridge by now.
