Glamour asks “Why such an intense caption?” Yahoo! isn’t getting it either. How about a more specialized, nerd-friendly outfit like Cinemablend? GETTING.

Travis Barker was quoting the lyrics of The Misfits’ “Skulls,” and it’s a pretty perfect reference given the situation. And of course, Kourtney Kardashian couldn’t help but respond to the nod in a cheeky fashion.

Rock school: Misfits became one of punk rock’s most influential bands following their original run from the late 70’s to the early 80’s. They combined breakneck punk rock sounds with a horror/goth aesthetic, inspiring generations of music and fashion in the process. Frontman Glenn Danzig left the band in 1983 and eventually found mainstream rock success on his own. The band reformed in the 90’s with a revolving door of musicians backing the sole original member, bassist Jerry Only. Nearly two decades of lineup turbulence and legal battles followed, but culminated in a happy ending for diehard Misfits fans. Beginning in 2016, Danzig and guitarist Doyle von Frankenstein rejoined Jerry Only as The Original Misfits. They’ve performed about a dozen shows since. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to see ’em!
