Ozzy Osbourne Knows What Protected Him From Covid

Could it beeeee… SATAN!?

Back in the fall of 2020, COVID-19 hit some Osbourne households. One of his grandchildren had it. His wife Sharon contracted coronavirus and was briefly hospitalized. Metal fans all across the world were concerned about Ozzy with his myriad of health problems, including his recently-revealed but long-hidden Parkinson’s diagnosis and a nasty fall in 2019. While people have tried everything from household cleaners to livestock de-wormers to help stave off COVID-19, Ozzy Osbourne says he’s discovered the ultimate anti-COVID treatment: Satan! Here’s what the Prince Of Darkness recently told Metal Hammer about his ability to avoid COVID up til now.

“My wife had the virus; my daughter had the virus and I never got it… being a devil worshipper does have its good points!”

Stay safe, Ozzy… however you do it!

On the new music front, we know the follow-up to his 2020 album Ordinary Man has been in the works for a while. He recently revealed an impressive slate of guitar god features on the record including his former Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi, his off-and-on solo era axeman Zakk Wylde, plus guitar legends Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton (hopefully Ozzy & Clapton worked remotely because Clapton’s a vehement anti-vaxxer). On other instruments, guests include Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo.
