Dave Grohl wrote this Foo Fighters track after his daughter asked “Daddy, is there gonna be a war?”

With Medicine At Midnight less than three weeks away, Foo Fighters just dropped the video for their latest single.

“Waiting on a War” shows footage of Foo Fighters performing the track, along with shots of young people dealing with the world around them. Throughout the clip, parents and authority figures don brown paper bags decorated with creepy, impressionist faces.

As for the song, it starts as a poignant ballad but builds towards a ferocious rock catharsis in its final minute.
