In honor of Time Magazine crowning teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg as their ‘Person Of The Year’, let’s remember…
Following her passionate speech in front of the UN last fall, musician and YouTuber John Mollusk put Thunberg’s speech to music – brutal music.
Greta Thunberg first received attention with her Summer 2018 protests in front of Swedish parliament when she was just 15. Her activism inspired many similar youth protest movements. The 2019 UN Climate Action Summit invited her to speak at the United Nations headquarters in New York City. Mollusk used that speech for the lyrics to “How Dare You”. Greta has also been diagnosed with Asperger’s, OCD, and selective mutism.
In addition to her ‘Person of the Year’ honor, Greta was also a 2019 Nobel Peace Prize finalist.
As for Mollusk, he also has a thrash band called Suaka. And he partnered with a record label to sell “How Dare You” as a single. Follow the YouTube embed above for those links.
